We only take on a few clients at a time, and every one gets both fractional design leadership and senior execution. Both matter more than ever. AI has made the making cheap. But it’s raised the stakes on making the right product calls and shipping quality work.
FAQ
Here's what to
know before
working with us.
Our senior design team of two, Carlo and Zelda. You'll work with us directly from start to finish. There are no account managers, no juniors, no one translating your problem to someone who wasn’t in the room.
Most engagements begin with a sprint or an audit that lasts four to six weeks. It’s bounded on purpose. You get something real at the end, and we both get to see how we work together. If it’s a fit, we keep going.
We embed in your team, month to month. We help you decide what to build next and then build it, one or two things at a time. You get the direction of a design leader and the simplicity of a subscription. Someone senior helps you call what to build and why. One flat price, and always clear what things are in motion.
Yes. We take the work through to the built interface and hand your engineers working front-end code they can extend, not flat files they have to interpret.
Sprints and audits are quoted as fixed-scope projects, and ongoing work is one flat monthly price. Working together starts at $10k. We’ll give you a real number once we understand the scope, usually on the first call.
Marketing sites, brochure builds, one-off social or ad creative, screens that just need producing, or work priced by the hour. It’s not what we’re best at, and we’ll tell you that on the first call. There are great shops for that work, and we’re happy to point you their way.
Our studio is named after Carlo's dog who was supposed to be a boy named Bandit. Turns out she was a girl and the name Lady Bandit just stuck.
